I’m an over thinker, it’s only recently I realized it was to avoid dealing with matters of the heart. Songs like “Letters From Rome”, “How Do You Know”, and “Hold On” progress forward with life knowing past heartbreaks will forever be with me. It’s the bitter and the sweet we must experience. 


“The Fire That Seals, “The Pearl On The Back Of My Hand”, and “Kindness” move along like a drifter reflecting on every memory that makes him smile, reminding him what life is worth living for. 


My goal on this album was to examine the past, think about the future but stay centered here, by way of my heart.
